G.J. Gardner homes Shoalhaven wins NSW excellence in business ethics award

G.J. Gardner Homes Shoalhaven, builder of residential homes in the Shoalhaven has won the NSW Business Chamber’s Excellence in Business Ethics Award at a Gala Dinner in Sydney on Friday evening.

Sponsored by Australian Business Lawyers & Advisors, the Excellence in Business Ethics Award recognises a business that promotes an ethical workplace culture, strives to exceed the expectations of its suppliers and customers and gives back to the local community.

With the team motto – ‘we sleep well at night because of the decisions we make’ – G.J. Gardner Homes Shoalhaven received top honours for Excellence in Business Ethics in recognition of its success in instilling an ethical workplace culture.
In addition to implementing an upfront, all-inclusive approach to pricing, which ensures customers receive a fixed price with no hidden costs, the company is also committed to employing and buying locally wherever possible to support the region’s economy.
Actively involved in the community, G.J. Gardner supports a number of local charities, sporting teams and community events.
The company coordinated and project managed the construction of GJ Variety Freedom House, which involved 80 suppliers, trades and sponsors and raised $209,000 for Variety, The Children’s Charity.
IBC CEO Debra Murphy congratulated G.J. Gardner Homes Shoalhaven for winning the Award for Excellence in Business Ethics.
